In some cases, Windows Mobile Device Center may not work with Windows 10 or may stop working after Windows 10 updates. Please follow the steps below to change the Windows Mobile Device Center services.
Click the Windows icon and type services.msc. Then click on Services listed at the top.
Locate the service for “Windows Mobile-based device connectivity” and double click on that service.
Select the tab for Log On. Then select the radio button for “Local System account” and check the box to Allow service to interact with desktop. Click OK.
Make sure that the Windows Mobile-based device connectivity service is highlighted. Click Restart Service.
Repeat steps 2-4 for the Windows Mobile-2003-based device connectivity service.
Launch Windows Mobile Device Center and attempt to connect the device. The program should run and your device should connect.
