This script should force the uninstall for those machines which have a corrupt install of the application or that, for some other reason, will simply not uninstall using add/remove programs in the control panel.

To run this script, you must have the Microsoft Windows Installer Cleanup Utility installed.  You should not run the utility.  The script will handle that for you.  You can acquire that utility installation with the following link:

http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/9/d/e9d80355-7ab4-45b8-80e8-983a48d5e1bd/msicuu2.exe

If you are curious what it is, there is more info about Microsoft Windows Installer Cleanup Utility here:

 To utilize the script:

  1. Download the script from http://www.redbeam.com/products/inventory/RedBeam_Uninstall_Script.zip
  2. Unzip the RedBeam_Uninstall_Script.zip file to a location of your choice on the machine that needs the uninstall
  3. Make sure ALL applications are closed/disabled/exited.  Check the notification area of your taskbar for icons of running programs (right click on them).
  4. Double click the RedBeam _Uninstall_Script.vbs file.
  5. You MUST reboot before attempting to reinstall the application.

If the machine running this script is on the NT4.0 OS you may have some difficulty with the script. If you encounter problems, contact support at 678-373-0390.

The uninstall will take a minute or two, and will display a message box when it finishes.
